Hoi Paul,
Als ik ook een smiley kon geven aan je WS, dan had ik dat zeker gedaan. Beide foto's zijn heel erg mooi. Vooral de warme kleuren van deze zijn perfect en geeft de foto een perfect sfeer. Het contrast tussen de donkere see en de verlichte berg met de regenboog is super.

What a splectacular moment!!!
Not only there was no night there, but you also managed to capture a rainbow! This should definately come everyday! :)
Superbly done, Paul! My hat's off to you!
The POV is excellent, showing a beautiful panorama of those impressive mountains. The colors and tones are simply lovely and the exposure is spot-on.

A great looking shot. Under those condition in which you had to shoot under, it becomes an amazing shot. One of those beautiful scenes that many of use have never experienced in person. Very dramatic.

I had a bit of a look at your gallery...very nice.This is indeed a bit different from your usual but no less attractive!Well done in catching such a beautiful rainbow despite the low light.The rugged rock landscape illuminated in the sunset light.Well captured without a tripod...keep well and TFS.

Heia Paul, det glede meg til å se slik pent bilder fra Troms. Håper at du kan sette flere bilder her på TN. Nee, dan maar Nederlands, gaat me toch iets makkelijker af. Erg mooi om deze beelden te zien van een omgeving die ik erg mooi vind. Het zachte licht en mooie regenboog natuurlijk. Het is heel bijzonder om dat midden in de nacht te kunnen fotograferen. Enige puntje van overweging is om bij de regenboogfoto de horizon nog wat lager te leggen dat je meer lucht hebt en meer regenboog.

Prachtig hoe de regenboog precies terecht komt op de berg waar sneeuw op ligt.

Worth 2 points just because it's so unusual!
You were very lucky to see it, especially having the rainbow over the snow-capped mountain. It would have been impreoved if you'd aimed left a little more, so that the rainbow and mountain were not in the centre.

Yes this is not far from where I live. My little town is about 1h 40min drive south from Tromsø. I like your shot very much. The contrast between the rainbow, sunlight, and dark skies are very good. The detail eith the snow still lingering on the mountaintops shows that you are far north!

It isn't every day, oops every night, that we see a rainbow. So this is a pretty special event. It reminds me of a recent event here where in the middle of winter, AND in the middle of the night < 2AM > we had an electric storm come thru!

Well done shooting this from a moving ship. U must have "zeemansbenuh!" Tfs, Jay

Not often to see a scenery like this!
A simple composition but the point of view is perfect...
The time of day (night) adds a particular warmth to the colours as the sunbeams hit the summit!
