Never even imagined something like this exists Robert. Your image is excellent. Your notes IMO suck. Nevertheless you deserve the points for such a good image. Please redeem yourself ( no offence please ) and try to ID this. It will be a great post.

I have to agree with Willie nice photo but your description sucks. There are a number of members in TN who maybe able to help with an ID but we need to know more about this fungus. Habitat, season, substrate etc. My best guess is a Cortinarius sp.

This is BEAUTIFUL. Just amazing subject that should have been posted with some more views in a Large Format image.
I can see you and the forest reflected in them :D
The only nit, the yellow glare, for the rest very well managed. Thanks. About the ID?? No idea. Agree with Clive it has some cortinarius characteristics, but have no seen in my life.

Interesting capture Robert - they look like some green jelly from another planet (Mars may be). Very nice and clear shot with good details and colours.

I agree with Clive - a note would be very helpfull.

Zachwycajace zdjecie! Przepiekne kolory, kompozycja i przede wszystkim te blyszczace grzyby! Co to za gatunek i jaki jest duzy? Bardzo mi sie podoba.

Excellent photo Robert! Beautifull colours, sharpness, composition. Saturated green moss but best of all shinning fungi! I like it very much.

Robert, Great post! Never seen this "flavor" before..Good DOF & this all green BG compliments the subject very well. In the future some type of note would be great. TFS!

A great photo Robert. This mushroom is unknown to me,but very beautiful. Hope you can get an ID for it.

Superbe image.

Fajne, ale samo zdjecie lekko przeostrzone

Hi Robert i like your macro this one is great, very nice composition, vivid colours & details.

Very well done!

The are only two possibility:
1) Psilocybe aeruginosa (Curtis 1786) Noordeloos 1995 (= stropharia aeruginosa)
2) Psilocybe caerulea (Kreisel 1980) Noordeloos 1995 (= Stropharia caerulea = Stropharia cyanea)
The only macroscopical difference is the edge of the gill: concolorous in number 1 and barren (white) in number 2.
Other differences are microscopical.
