How brave of you! I love beautiful portraits of "ugly" creatures. :) Can you stop down (f8?) and make it easier on yourself to get the eyes in focus? That said, I like the softness of the flower. Oft-swatted flies are hard targets for such a short DOF tho...

Hello Roma,
sharp and brilliant presentation of the fly and the flower with suitable depth of field. Colours of the flower and the fly's eyes are nice. The background is generally not distracting. In my opinion, however, the dark green reduces a bit the beauty of the flower colour - but that's the natural background.

Swietna fotka. Niesamowite kolory i calkiem dobra glebia ostrosci. Mozna byloby pokombinowac troszke z poziomami w PS zeby wydobyc nieco wiecej kontrastu i detali.
Tak czy inaczej - dobra robota :-)

A gift to the eyes, I like the fine macro shot you've obtained, details are superb. The floer is of Chicorium intybus. We have this inroduced species in Argentina as well.

Musze przyznac, ze to co mi sie podoba najbardziej w tej fotce to bardzo ladna, estetyczna i artystyczna kompozycja. Mucha (Sarcophagidae???) na tle blekitnego chabru prezentuje sie swietnie :) Oba elementy zdjecia sa ostre i dobrze doswietlone.
Naprawde niezle zdjatko! :>
