Not one for the arachnophobes. A superbly clear macro of the spider.

The only thing I would have liked is something in the shot to give it a sense of scale, but that really is trivial compared to seeing the details here.

I am not a spider fan, so i wont go looking for them, but i dont mind seeing them on the screen... This is an amazing shot..
I would like to know some more info about the spider though

Wow!Do you know the name of the criter!!

Good clarity of detail in this shot Pawel, that Nikon 4500 does perform well on macro work. It would be good to know what type of spider it is.

Superb macro, Pawel. No nits, to me it couldn't be better. Very good framing and light. TFS.

Very good capture. I loved the details and DoF on the photo. It's a unlucky situation that we could not see the head.

impressive !
never see that strange spider...

Hi Pawel I think this one is a heavily pregnant Araneus quadratus. Lovely detailed post. Great lighting and composition. Well done.

Pawel, Love them spiders! Excellent sharpness & details. Great that you've shot into the sky, it makes for an excellent BG to your great lookin' spider. Well done!

It's strange. I'd almost think it was floating but it's only resting on one thread. Great details.

Good Lord, chap, you a brave man; whatta mighty chilling scene you sport here. Awesome lil` bugga, what a tense stance you caught him on. Keep up the good works !

Hi Pawel
Gross, bloated and beautifully caught walking the silk rope! It actually gave me the shivvers, so well done.

This is an impresive close up. Very well done.
