A superb macro of a species of Copper that I have wanted to photograph for a long time.
This is a female of the rare Large Copper (Lycaena dispar), not L. thersamon that is not found in Poland.
Excellent POV sharpness and lighting and it shows sharply and well against the OOF green BG.
Thanks you for sharing this beauty,

Gratulacje!

You have quite a collection of butterfly photos in your gallery. Love the aerial view you have managed to capture of this beauty. Lovely display of patterns and shapes on the wings. You captured this little butterfly in a marvellous pose and made a fantastic shot with a gorgeous composition. I really enjoyed looking at this one. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent sharp detailed photo in great clear colours and a fantastic OOF BG. With a little crop from the left side, to get the butterfly more out of the centre, the composition was also perfect. But this is a superb photo!

Beautiful capture of the Large Copper in a fine pose and very sharply in focus. It really stands out from the green background.

Wszystko pięknie tylko to nie jest thersamon - on w Polsce nie występuje ;-)
