Amazing macro shot of great quality. You have pictured simply beautiful specimen. I have not met this species and like it a lot. Sharpness and details of the insect and plant are brilliant too and BG is very nice in smoothness and colours. Excellent job. My compliments and TFS.

Ladnie uchwycone z dobra ostroscia i na czystym BG prezentuje sie znakomicie. Taki sam umiescilem na TN troche wczesniej. Chyba ulubione ich miejsce to krzewy czarnej jagody, gdyz tam bylo ich kilka.

You have a great collection of butterflies, Marx. It is hard to decide on the one I prefer. All your photos are sharp, nicely composed and well exposed. This one caught my attention because of its usual green colour, sharpness and pleasant background. Well done.

Hello Marx,

an excellent presentation of C rubi, isolated by a contrasting background showing its marvellous lustre in a perfect way! Not that easy, at all. With its habit of sitting deep down in vegatation, that pretty species is quite hard to approach. And even when successfully captured, that brilliantly lustrous butterfly would often look surprisingly inconspicuous in the picture, just well camouflaged among the green.

PL: Zieleńczyk ostrężyniec, AT: Brombeer-Zipfelfalter - such an exciting variety of different words for a simple beauty in common.

Jest to bez watpienia jedno z najladniejszych zdjec tego gatunku jakie na TN widzialem. A co wiecej, fakt, ze motyl siedzi na czubku galazki sprawia, ze musiales wykazac sie duzym refleksem i "celnym okiem" :)

This is really super. Not only the photography but the butterfly itself is marvellous. It has the most striking colours and the details is striking. This one's powdery appearance stole my heart. I like it a lot. An image with great focus, sharpness, clear detail and just right composition. A lovely macro worth a definite 10 out of 10. Best regards and thanks for sharing.

Looking at your latest photos, this one really popped in my eyes.
What a superb macro shot! I just love the vibrant colors of the butterfly and how well they stand out from the uniform BG.
The perfectly parallel side POV is also terrific and thanks to it you managed to keep the entire subject in great focus.
