The Sooty Copper (Lycaena tityrus) is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Europe.The wingspan is 28-30 mm.
The butterfly flies from April to September depending on the location.The larvae feed on Rumex acteosa and Rumex acetosella.

Another beautiful shot from Sooty Copper from you! The sharpness and POV are prefectly chosen and so is the DOF. The colors of the butterflies are very well shown and the blurred BG just fits prefectly well to the subject in teh FG. Well done!

Hi Pawel,i like a lot his kind of little butterflies and you was lucky to found a top moment like that.Excellent point of view and good sharpness,maybe is a little dark but the choice of backlight was very nice and unusual.My best compliments,have a nice Sunday,Luciano.
