We are neighbours today!
A delightful capture of a Robin that looks happy despite the cold! The POV, pose, sharpness and lightmanagement all add to a high quality image of this popular little bird.
We have one in our garden and he has learnt to hang on the suet ball to feed1
Thanks and all the best,

This one looks just like the permanent Robin that we have out here in the snow by the bird feeders! Yours looks so cute and fluffed up in the cold and I love the light and the colours. Excellent work for a first Robin!
TFS and regards, Ulla

Swietna ostrosc.naturalne kolory i zimowe tlo.Wyglada na to ,ze pomimo mrozu mieliscie sloneczny dzien.Pozdrawiam Siggi

Your first try at a Robin is a real beauty Grzegorz, very good definition and the posture and the fluffy feathers point to the cold weather rather nicely. TFS MF.

Indeed, the Robin is well known in our regions, bu that's not a reason not to present it. Congratulations for your first! You have put this cute little fellow well on stage and I like the contrast with the white snow.

It sure is nice to see a couple of postings in succession from you again as recently you
too have become somewhat sporadic. However, this site never dies on us, we might do
a bit of a detour somewhere else (due to various reasons or responsibilities), but usually
it doesn't take too long than we're back again and life continuous the "normal" way. I am
glad for your behalf to see this first-off posting you've done with the Red-breasted Robin.
I know how excited I get when I captured a new species for the first time so I can relate
to your "One small step for mankind…but one big step for me".
You captured lovely sharp details on this tiny fluff-ball. The colours are natural and strong
and the bird is nicely enhanced by the white snow in the BG. Good contrasts and details
shown in the snow as well.
Well done and TFS.
Have a great week MF.
Btw, seems like we are both living in extreme zones. You just experienced the -30°C and
here in sunny Zululand we had a scorching day at +35°C.
A fine winter shot of this poor robin in the snow; how do they survive -30 deg!!! Good composition and details.

22 below? I don't think I could survive it after a dozen years in Arizona!! But this beautiful Robin seems to be doing very well and is actually enjoying the snow. The redbreast against the white snow is wonderful. The face, wings and plumage are magnificent. I do hope it warms up for all of you.
