[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Common Goldeneye captured near pier in Gdansk Brzezno. The Goldeneye is a medium sized sea duck of the genus Bucephala, the goldeneyes. Their closest relative is the similar Barrow's goldeneye.
Adult males ranges from 45–52 cm (18-21 inches), while females range from 40–50 cm (16-20 inches). The species is aptly named for its golden-yellow eye. Adult males have a dark head with a greenish gloss and a circular white patch below the eye, a dark back and a white neck and belly. Adult females have a brown head and a mostly grey body.

A wonderful and unusual POV of this duck.
Very sharp image with excellent exposure on the white.
I really like the low POV and the tail open.
The drop of water on the head is a gem.
TFS. : )

Hi, Jacek.
Fantastic nice picture of a fantastic fine bird. Good photo angle. Nicely with the water plows after the bird.
Regards, Anders

Hi Jacek. This is such a fine face on view of this Goldeneye . I like the way the tail wing can be seen at the rear. Its large yell eye rings standout from the black feathers of the face, well taken TFS
