Hi Tom, TN requires you to write a note about your insect. This would be much be much better with a note.

I like this picture, the butterfly ID is a Peacock (Inachis io). The colours and DOF are good, the right hand wing looks a little blurred.

Be sure to critique other members photos only then can this site grow.

Nice pic of a peacock, it's a shame there is the shadow of your camera on it, I know it's not always easy but be careful of it, the pic could have been nicer with full sun on the wings. Well done anyway.
