Firstly, welcome to the site. Crit: I think a portrait rather than landscape crop would have been better as it would also have given the duck some room to "walk" into. It would also have eliminated the leaf behind it as well as the top section of ripples in the water. Lok forward to more posts from you. I will try to get time to do a small ws for you soon. Cheers. It's a nice picture you begin with.
Maybe a little more space to the left.

I like the attitude of the duck, but I think he's too centered. Maybe you should have let more space on the left of the picture. Hope we'll seen another pictures soon !

High on the cute factor. Nice shot, good composition.

You could try to use a flash or light to get a catch-light in the ducks eye. With animals the eyes are trully important and we need to do what we can to bring them out.
