Unidentified green moth today. This is same insect which I posted few posts ago. This time wing are visible, so I hope someone will ID this little emerald. I took this picture on big, dried meadow in Zelow. It was very patient model, so I took as many pictures as I wanted. Picture from times of drought. Now we've got rain every day. You know, Poles are strange people - always unhappy and annoyed :-) We've got even joke about Poles and weather:

There are only four natural disasters in Poland - Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

Hello Grzegorz,
Fantastic POV of this picture, good focus on the moth´s head, contrasting bg is what I like.

Good joke!

Hi Greg
I have to say that it's about the same thing here. We allways complain about the weather, too. :)

Anyway, another lovely shot of this interesting moth.
I like this POV, too. Also great BG, lighting, sharpness and colors. Very good framing and composition as well.

Bravo and TFS
Have a great weekend :)

Hi Greg !
You know, Poles are not the only ones who complain about weather - french people can do that very well too ! :-) First we wanted rain, and now that we have rain we want sun again... Anyway, it is an excellent capture, with awesome details and textures, particularly on the hairy head of the moth. Wonderful colors, composition and POV. Very well done !

Hello! If you are interested in a species of this moth ask Christopher_PL :) Butterflies are his hobby and probably he can help you :)Pretty nice colours, good sharpness :)

Hi Greg,
The details are nice, clear and sharp.
Good colours, lighting and exposure. The POV is great.
Well composed and good framing.
My very own ninja skills can help with this ID ;) I have a very good reference guide to British Insects, which has a great section on moths. This my friend is a 'Burren Green' (Calamia tridens) It's not seen in England, but on the west coast grasslands of Ireland.
Thanks for posting, have a great end to the week my friend.
