The otherwise perfect sharpness of this shot is marred a little by the vegetation in front of the r. forewing tip. Nice BG and presentation.

I think this is the best photograph of a male hippothoe I have seen. Beautiful contrast between the orange butterfly and the green background, and just a hint of the purple iridescence visible.
