I borrowed my title from Gerhard, I hope he will not be angry. Water vs. ice and I hope water will win. Todays morning - again -15C, fortunatelly full sunshine. I was walking to work via one of my beloved parks and took few photos. This one I took at sunday at stream which I described yesterday. Nature is pure beauty. Something so simply like water could be more beautiful than every human creation. Water in ocean, water in river. Water as ice. Water as mist. Many of my pictures which you called good showed water in different states. Like this one. Water and sunlight makes great show.

The water looks so black Greg. And the little iceberg floats along nicely in the black oil. I look forward to your note later. TFS,

Man, that's cold! But I would very much welcome a little colder weather here in NL. :) Beautiful picture, you captured the movement of the water perfectly.

Is that ice on oil? Excelent view of the ice on water. Your composition is well done.

Very nice mini-iceberg, I don't imagine you have a mini Titanic to go with this?

Vrey nice shot Grzegorz, the movements of the water are captured very well indeed. Good work.

Nice shot Greg. If the ice wasn't there you could think the water was boiling.

Grzegorz, I enjoy your unusual shots done in unusually good fashion! I agree that your shot has put on a great light show. The rapid movement of the stream has helped to create a dazzling display of light..TFS!!

This close highlights are difficult to get in an artistic way. Your spor metering works very well with this ones. I agree with you this one needed to be right on the middle ;-) TFP
