Hello Michal,
Nice that such lovely creatures like dragonflies can be the start of friendships. This is really the spirit of TN!
Fine capture of a newly emerged metallica, showing the colours before they darken.
Sharp and well composed with excellent stone BG.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Hello Michal,
First of all, many thanks for posting the group picture of some of you TN stalwarts from Poland. It feels good to see you guys in a natural and 'humane' situation (yuck for those tiny profile mug shots!). That TN brings people together to that extent of warm personal contact is a pleasant and positive thought, indeed. Can I join you guys in your next meeting?
This is a very pretty dragonfly from Poland. I like the golden-green metallic sheen on its body. Though the picture goes back to your initial days of digital equipment, it does succeed in bringing forth the charm of this insect.
Warm regards,
Ram

Hi Michal!
You captured real jewel here, emerald is very good word to describe it! As Krzysiek wrote slightly blurred in some parts, but colours are simply superb. Shinning green rules :-) Good to see that you're becoming more familiar with your new book :-)
Big thanks for dedication! I believe we built new PTE-TN bridge last friday and as you wrote - beginning of friendship!

Absolutely stunning colors on this dragonfly, Michal.
I really like the golden sheen on that incredible emerald.
Excellent and unusual POV of this insect on TN.
I think it is very cool that you were able to get your group of TN'ers to get together in real life. What fun!
TFS both your dragonfly picture and your group photo!

Hi Michal,
Beautiful, well composed shot, with optimum framing and the bleak stone BG contrasting well with the subject's stunning colours

Hejka!
No i wreszcie widze obrobiona miedziopiersc metaliczna!
Nic dodac nic ujac! No moze tylko tyle, zebys na stronke Oddzialu podrzucil te wersje zamiast poprzedniej ;)
Serdecnosci,
RJ
PS.

Hi Michal
This is really a very interesting dragonfly!
Its colors and reflection are indeed worth of its name.
And the fact that you managed to capture is just after its "birth" is even more spectacular.
The details here are nice (except the wings which were moving) and the lighting was excellent.
The note is also great and gives a clear image of how this species look when grown up and about where it lives.
Nice to see that gathering in Lodz, too! Great friend and great people :)
Cheers and TFS

Hello Cedryk,
This is a very nice picture. The green color is very nice and the details on the dragon fly are very sharp. The exposure is probably good, but the stone looks a little too white to me. Anyway, well done & TFS!

Pieter

Hi Michal,
This is a real dazzling picture of the metallica that you delight us with, a fragile glimmering jewel against that solid grey rock - a beautiful and impressive contrast! Thank you very much for this highly treasured contribution! I also wish you and your local Lodz branch of nature trekers all the best for the future!

Wonderful colors with very good clarity in this capture Michal.
I like it a lot: composition, POV, sharpness, DOF, focus, colors, lighting, framing, background, notes.
I don't like it: nothing to grumble (except not having been able to share that beer with all you).
Cheers!!!

Hi Michal,
Dragonflies are my favorite insects and this is one of the best captures I've ever witnessed! All the technical merits of the photo have been already mentioned by others so all I have to offer is my sincere congratulations!
I'd also like to thank you for doing a workshop on one of my own dragonflies (the Trithemis annulata). I know it's been a while but I hadn't visited TrekNature this year...
Cheers and TFS,
