Curious beetle, whose larva reaches 4 cm and is an important plague of cultures.
"The evolutive cycle during three years. In the first year females deposit eggs in the ground, about 25 to 30 cm of depth. The larvae come out, during the summer, feeding roots of little plants. In the autumn, they are embedded in the ground to hibernate. In the second year, the cycle happens again, but larvae already are more developed and damages are most important, since in the third year, next to complete the life cycle, are much less voracious."
