Peneireiro-vulgar,Common Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) versus Black Kite (Milvus migrans)

The same territorial fight with different species...
Other pic taken from the car...in the late afternoon the rapines come to the poles for a little rest... not really a simple rest because others have there his territory...

For this pic I disabled the AF from the shutter button ... a high ISO set and 10 frames per second... more and more I don't use any converser... less glass less noise, betting on the approximation...

First fly by nothing special... second this one...

Hi Jose, Your note is certainly helpful to me for taking in flight birds pictures. I wonder if I could use 300mm no IS zoom lens to get the same result with the same camera setting. Wonderful sharpness and nice lights with great DOF. Thank very much

Bom dia Jose,
Great action photo. Beautiful natural colours and excellent sharpness. A pity that the background is still a bit noisy. But I know that a bit PP work is needed for the best result in these conditions and circumstances.

OH WOW!!!!!!! thanks for letting me know!! These are AWESOME!!!

I'm quite sure the big one is a buzzard, thought. Not a kite.
