|Abelharuco, European Bee-eater (Merops apiaster)|
Hi TN Friends!
For a long while (at least for me) I didn't come here for posting or critic and I'm not sure that I could come very often and see Your pics.
This is a contribution for the European Bee-eater... for this I must tell a little story... I went to the Alentejo, Portugal SW looking for this birds. On the deepest part of isolation we found some people asking for the birds or even conditions to occur such as hives... after a long of road we met a small chapel of Our Lady of Snows.Wonderful high place in that landscape... believe it or not a little while after that visit we found a colony of bee eaters...
Very sorry for the insect Lovers but this species is a part of the environmental regulation...
