[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Western Dappled White (Euchloe crameri), is a butterfly in the Pieridae family. Its range is mainly western southern Europe, being usually found in Portugal, Spain, France and north Africa but it has been seen as far east as Italy.

The wingspan is 4048 mm. The butterfly flies from February to August depending on the location.

The larvae feed on Brassicaceae species.

Hello Luis,
I have only seen these uniquely colored butterflies in photos, it must be thrilling to view one in the wild. I love the way their wings appear to be inlaid in gold. You managed to photograph this particular specimen in wonderful detail and beautiful natural colors.
