Hello Jose,
Disgusting beautiful.

Hola Jose,
Una especie muy interesante con un olor muy fétido que atrae a las moscas para esparcir las esporas. Buena toma

Hi Jose,
Lovely close up of this fungus.Well seen, caught and composed.
Thanks for posting.

Hi Jose,
this fungus sure is an unusual looking one and has quite the vivid colour as well. The texture it has reminds me of how bones look when they are broken open as the pores and holes look similar. The only thing that I see that could be better would be for the focus to have been sharper but much is lost on resize.I tried a workshop to boost the sharpness some, and I hope you enjoy the difference. Bob

Hola José, muy interesante tu fotografía, sobre todo por las texturas bien captadas y el contraste tan bonito creado. Creo que solamente he visto esa seta una vez al natural y por lo que he leído su olor es nauseabundo jeje.

Hello Hose,
This is a very intertesting shot to me because we get these 'basket fungi' here in New Zealand, but don't often see them posted from other parts of the world.
I had no idea you had such things in Portugal, so this is certainly an education for me.
Thanks for sharing this one.

Hi Jose,

this are an fungi that I have not in my archives and very rare in the Netherlands.
Nice composition and razor sharp.
Very good of details and from the stuctures.

Hi Jose!

I think it's obvious that this fungi would not taste very good...

It's a good idea to present us this particular fungi with its unusual shape and patterns. I also have taken the opportunity to look at your gallery for the first time and found many interesting and beautiful pictures.

Kind regards

Hi Jose

Great shot of this unusual looking fungi. I bet it stank! It looks like a rotting pumpkin. TFS

Hi Jose,
I've never seen such a funghi before, that's realy interesting. And I like the colours and the whole arrangement, thanks

Hi Jose,
Thanks for your kind critique on my recent picture.
At the first glance, I could not recognize your subject as fungus. Then I realized it must be having a very short stem, so that only the hat shows.
It is the most unusual fungus I have ever seen.
You have shot it very well, indeed.
Thanks and regards.

Hi Jose,
I've never seen such a wonderful and special shaped fungi. I like the pattern of it a lot. It looks like it burst open to atract insects. It position amid the clovers give a wonderful color contrast and makes it stand out perfectly. The details are also very interesting to see.

Hello Jose,
Interesting fungi for its color, shape, & structure.
Very good DOF, details, colors, and exposed well.
Looks great framed in that green clover also :)
Happy Holidays,

Hello Jose,
An incredible image of a fungus I have never seen as well. Excellent detail and color throughout the image...

Hello Jose !
What an interesting fungi you have found here, I love his color and his shape. I like how you managed to get sharp nice sharp details on the whole fungi, without OOF parts. Very natural colors, and I love the contrast between red fungi and green BG. Also very nicely composed, excellent POV. Very well done !

Olá José Luis,
Great photo of a unique fungus specie. It's originating from India, but as an alien specie, already growing in several countries of the Mediterranean / South European region. Didn't reach Hungary yet, but its relative, Clathrus archeri (= Anthurus archeri) is already found here (it's also an alien specie, originating from the island of Tasmania, Australia).
Congrats for the photo, have a nice Christmas. Friendly regards from Hungary, László

Unusual fungi, the contrasting colours in the photo draw my eye, the sharpness and composition are good - TFS.

Hola Jose.

Excelente imagen de una especie que nunca he visto y que llama mucho la atencion por su forma y color resultando muy atractiva a la vista.

Jose Luis.

Hello Jose,

I've never seen this fungus. Beautiful and very special. The look inside is amazing. Great capture in good light - very sharp details too and I like the fine grass- or is it clover surronding it. Thats also my favorite compose. Let the people see what's growing in the direct surrounding from your object.

Thanks for sharing. TFS BOB
