|At 1800+/- meters above sea level, windy and wild area, not much vegetation, with the black massive Granit rocks in the Serra-da-Estrela.|
The peak is at 1993m+/-.
White spots on the rocks are lime-stone residue's.
Taken on a grey cloudy day.

As a youth I had lived most of my days in Goa, & Bombay, India; and, when I went to Portugal to serve in the Air Force I went to this location and saw SNOW ... FIRST HAND. That day, on my return down, I hit the car into the side of the road... NO SNOW DRIVING EXPERIENCE... in those days.
