Hello Joao,
I like so much this photo, it's very clear and sharp.
You presents us the bird with plenty of very good details, that shows us the beauty of the colors on their plumage.
The texture on the branch is just simple gorgeous.
DOF used was so good, as well as the composition.
My only observation is the fact that the tail can't be seen complete in the frame...did you post a cropped image, or are this the original one?
I saw also your bird's sketches on your blog and liked it a lot.

A very very detailed photograph! The bird is quite nice, as others have already pointed out -- but I really like the branch it's on! The bark is extremely high detail and the moss or lichen looks so soft and fuzzy. Wonderful shot!!

El fondo es muy bueno al igual que el posadero. Quizás la pega es el corte de la cola, pero vamos tampoco es que importe mucho.
