Another picture with a plant specie.
Marsh Helleborine (Epipactis palustris) is a rather scarce plant of lowland marshy alkaline ground such as fens, wet dune-slacks and flooded railway cuttings.

The plants have about half a dozen narrow leaves and a one-side flower spike of between four and twenty flowers. The flowering period stretches from June to September and the flowers are pollinated by bees; they have a whitish lower lip and the rest of the flower is tinged reddish or brownish.

There is a creeping rootstock below the soil surface enabling the plant to spread over large areas of ground.
This is one orchid that I like. It is a picture frum my last summer trip home in Romania. I took it in a nice mountain meadow, were the water layer was near the soil surface. The meadow was full with wild flower, including 4 or more species of orchids, a paradise for butterflys and other insects. I am speaking at the past, because, in the future on that meadow will rise a "beautiful and 4 stars chalet".
But I hope you will like the picture.
Cropped and sharpened.

Hello Oana,
This is one of my favourite orchids that is found in Sweden too. Your capture is wonderful showing the individual flowers clearly and the colours are natural and beautiful. A lovely soft green background too.
TFS and regards, Ulla

Buna Oana,

Nu am mai intalnit aceasta orhidee. M-ai facut curios asa ca o voi cauta si in regiunea mea. Fotografia ta arata bine florile chiar daca imaginea este putin "soft". Constructia florii si culorile pot fi bine observate.

TFS si toate cele bune,

Hi Oana, never seen a beauty like that, excellents details and colors, every day i'm surprising from the impresives species living in Romania! Multumesc, have a nice day,Luciano

Salut Oana,

Hi Oana,

Impressive capture of flower, nice depth and blur effect. Good lightness that imphasis the flower and its nicely standout.TFS.

Hello Oana,
A plant which is new for me. Very fine flower-heads decorate this orchid. Difficult with this kind of multi-headed flowers to have everything in focus. I like your vertical framing and the nice green background.
Thanks a lot
Best regards

Helo Oana,

A beautiful image, shows the attractive little flowers nicely, with a nice out-of-focus background. We have an Epipactis here too, E. helleborine, an import from Europe that has proliferated in the wild.

Bonjour Oana,
Belle publication valorisant bien le sujet par la finesse des détails et la délicatesse des couleurs.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

Hi Oana!

I like your simple, yet so beautiful picture very much. This orchid is delicate and looks so fragile. I also like orchids very much and I'm impressed about your description of the meadow with 4 other species of orchids in your homeland. This must be a pleasure to look at!

Kind regards

Hello Oana,
Great composition of this nice orchid. The blured background works well. And the management of light is very good. Not easy with the white petals! Best regards,
