Asa maestrii in pasari o sa iti identifice imediat pasarea ta. Mica si frumoasa. Sunt total de acoed cu Dana, o compozitie foarte frumoasa.
Si daca tinem cont si de conditiile in care ai surprins-o ... super, felicitari.

Hi Doina,

I’m not an expert in the European birds but it seems to be a Great Grey Shrike or Northern Grey Shrike (Lanius excubitor).
The blood on his neck is probably from his last meal.
A nice picture – congratulations.

Excelenta captura...
Asa cun spune si Mario este un sfrancioc mare (Lanius excubitor). In Dobrogea e observat in special iarna si nu este o prezenta foarte comuna. In restul tarii l-am observat tot timpul anului.
Numai bine si cat mai multe poze cu zburatoare

Foarte faina poza cu acest sfrancioc! Compozitia buna, contrastul desemenea, iar detaliile la fel! Si cand te gandesti ca omoara soparle si le papa...parca nu-ti vine a crede! TFS!

Indeed, this is the Great Grey Shrike, Lanius excubitor. Excellent sharp detailed photo in very beautiful natural colours. Very nice POV with eye-contact. Good composition.
