Hi again,

Here's another shot from the same mountain trip i made last week.
Even though we were rather high up (about 1600-1700m) and almost on the peak of this mountain, i found this particular place which was quite sheltered from the wind by a big rock on my right side here and so i was able to apply longer shutter speed in order to conserve image quality.
I really liked these white flowers and the way they stood out of the whole coniferous vegetation around.

Hope you'll like it and thanks for visiting :)

Hello Horia
You choose landscapes very sagely and almost always I see very good compositions. This time very uncommon vertical composition with nice white flowers in the foreground.

Hi,
Very fine environmental landscape, beautifully captured with those flowering plants. tfs.

My dear friend Horia,
Incredible, how you have managed to produce a photo with the sharp details of the flowers in the front AS WELL AS the details of the mountain slopes in the back ground.

The artistic presentation of dead branches (contrasting with the blue sky)together with the juicy green in the foreground remind me of japanese flower arrangements...

Beautiful, BRAVO Horia!
Have a nice evening,
Warm Greetings
Ingrid

PS The picture is with the framer. He waits for the oak for the frame. Due to the Soccer World cup all deliveries are suspended!?! I cannot wait for the noise of the vuvuzelas to stop; especially at night.

Hi Horia,
I guess you won't read this until you're back from your vacation so i hope that when you read this you can say that it was a great trip.
I have to say that I fully agree with you about these white flowers. It seems that they grow all over this mountain region since I see them return in more of your photos. Do you know the name of them?
The composition with the old dead tree is a beauty. You really managed to captured a serene mood in this photo with a high degree of clarity. There seems to be a sort of smokey blue streak in the FG that looks a little out of place. Is this a ghosting effect from the sun?
TFS,
Niek
