Excellent colour and sharpness, Mariana. I have seen lots od these Burnet moths, but I have never seen them mating. I must keep my eyes open in future.

Beautifully presented, and very pleasing to look along this diagonal of the reed stalk.

This moment is so special and fantastic, Mariana, to see them mating gives us hope to see them again next summer.
I never had the chance to see such a Burnet, I realy don't know where to go to find some of these beautiful moths.

What a special image you manage to capture. Not only because of the actual mating taking place, but also the beautiful details of both the Burnets. They are indeed lovely specimens and you have photographed them very skilfully and very beautifully. Details like red spots on the shiny black wings, and the way the one is grasping onto the stem of the plant is are really special and beautiful to look at. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
