Hi everyone,

Just got back from yet another trip - this time to a more famous location: The Retezat National Park.
I first visited this place last year, but on a horrid weather, so a few friends and i decided to go again now and try our luck once more. We did and we were rewarded with maybe even a bit too much sun :)

This is the Bucura Lake (2041m a.s.l.) - the biggest glacial lake in the region and our base camp for this trip. In fact, if you look closely, you can see some small campers on the left of the bigger picture.
Needless to say, the views all around it were gorgeous and i came back with around 14GB of photos after less than 3 days :)) True, most of them aren't good and will probably never see the light of day, but there are some shots i'm happy with that i will post in the near future.

Here is a panorama from our first morning. 5 single exposure shots stitched together and really nothing else done to them in post-processing. This is as it actually came out straight from the camera :)

Hope you'll like it and thanks for visiting.

nice postcard, TFS Ori

Buna Horia,
Numai bine,
Mircea

Hi Horia.
It is truly amazing scenery you showing here, my friend. Very impressive panorama viewing with a beautiful reflection on the water. See it right there must be a great experience. Weather you had a really wonderful, but maybe a few clouds in the sky was even better :-) Thanks for sharing this very nice presentation of these wonderful mountains.
Kind regards
Milos

Tell me about horrible. Atop my unlucky brushes with death, this last 18. Months has been horrible. Fine pano as all who used to be here came to know you. I do.

Hi Horia,
Wow what a great landscape. The reflection, the blue sky and water is amzazing. This image is so very crisp and clear. Nice stitching job. Landscapes like this are impossible when the sun doesn't shine, it looks like you were blessed. Well done.
Denis.
