[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Look what I found!

I took this picture loong time ago (1987), when I was a teenager. It was among my first colour photos. Back those days, I had an improvized lab at home where I use to process my films and print them on photo paper.
I felt sooo proud and happy when came up with this shot! (The begginer's luck)
I found the old print several days ago browsing to my huge box with prints.
I scanned it and it took me some time to photoshop clean it off the dirt and refresh the colours that time faded away.
I think this is a Rosaceae family small tree or shrub.

Isn't it a great feeling to find a old photo that you loved and bring it back to life. Nicely done Petru. Janice/Canada

Hi Petru
I am sure you will agree that there won't be much benefit in critiquing a photo that's been taken almost 20 years ago, but looking at the photo I can understand your excitement then for taking and developing it and I can understand your excitement now for rediscovering it. However, thanks for sharing this with us.
I am convinced it will remind most of us about our small beginnings and those first steps when we started to learning about this fascinating hobby which has become almost a way of living for many of us.

Hi Petru,
You're awaking long forgotten memories here... making me too recall my lab days! I never made it to colour, but specializing in B&W... I still have my old Magnifax, somewhere..?!
I think you did well on the colours here, it is fine also composition wise!

Hello Petru,
What a nice one. Taken it nineteen years ago! What a nice meeting with this one. Thanks for sharing with us. I like it also! Thank you.

Hi Petru!
Great to see new [or old ;-)] photo from you! Beautifull colours, composition and POV. I like experiments with DOF - flower looks great with partial blurring. Long time ago I also used analog Zenith XP, it was great camera, I still use lenses from it in my ultramacros.

Great shot from so long ago Petru!

I sure miss you guys, but so little time these days...:-(

Such is life!

Take care my friend!

Hi Petru,
The way you compose this picture made it a pice of art. TFS

This is an excellent image that you brought back to life! The POV, DOF, BG and Composition make it special (apart from being sentimental of course!). TFS,
