This is a marvellous capture of this rather strange looking toad. He even has a little green aphid as a passenger on his left leg which makes this a double species photo.
The composition is great with the rock carrying the toad nicely into the frame, the colours are rich and stunning, the details are truly amazing as one can see all those little tubercles and the pores, the BG is spectacular and it compliments the dark toad very well, and the exposure was perfectly managed to show such excellent contrast on the dark body of the amphibian.
Very well done and TFS.

Great shot of this little fellow, your POV and close-up have made him look much bigger :-) Only the Aphid gives away his size. I think your close-up filters are working perfectly, the shot is of great quality, excellent detail, beautifully smooth bokeh. Nicely framed with an interesting note, a lovely shot.
Thanks for helping out with the ID of my frog, it's helpful to me.

This is a very nice toad, looks very interesting.
The POV is great showing the contour, and shapness and details perfect. I did not know, aphids liked toads :)
You always get the light to the limit, but with nice results.

Espectacular... realmente Horia.
La nitidez con la que se aprecia la piel del anfibio es grandiosa, así como la inclusión del pulgón.
Gran DOF, iluminación y encuadre adecuados.
Gracias por compartirla con TN.

Spectacular... really Horia.
The clearness with which is appraised the skin of the amphibian is huge, as well as the inclusion of greenfly.

A wonderful animal and depicted very well in terms of sharpness, depth of field and colours.
Being a photographer IMO the white blurred flower in the BG is distracting...you can get rid of it in PS or similar editors.

Here is one I overlooked before :)
Very nice POV showing all important details of this Bombina species, especially well seen on amphibian's skin. On the skin I can see also a small green "kamikaze" aphid! ;> And this is really funny. Interesting is how did aphid ended adventure with this amphibian :)
Best greetings and have a nice Easter my Friend! :)
