Hi Horia,
Very nice Red Darter you have here! Love the 'over the shoulder' POV, excellent DoF the whole darter is in focus with good sharpness. Great light and colours, framing and 'spot on' composition. Very well done! I can see why you like this, so do I. Great write up as well. Regards Tim.

Hi Horia,
Red dragonfly on stem of rose, nicely captured. Very sharp and great details. 'Skeleton' of the wings are clearly visible. Neat image. Very well composed picture. Blurry and contrasting color background makes the dragonfly stand-out. Superb shot and excellent PP works.

Hi Horia,
I like the composition in your picture. Although I haven't seen that film, the second branch really gives depth to the image. I do however think the main rosebranch is a bit over exposed (correct me if I'm wrong). I'll try to give it a PS wrokshop later today.

This looks great. Your overall composition and framing looks excellent.
Exposure was spot on, and this rendered some beautiful color saturtation and nice sharp detail. Great clarity in the wings. The good seperation from the OOF backround is perfect. A nice one!

The dried up branch of rose bush makes an interesting perch for this red darter and I certainly appreciate your thoughts on the selection of details before posting the image, Horia.
Apparently, the composition is well balanced and attractive.
The subject has been captured from a very good angle, presenting a fine view of it in terms of details, colours and sharpness.

Hallo Horia,
well captured scene with this intensely red Sympetrum on top of this dry spiny plant. In spite of difficult point of view, there is good sharpness on all parts of the wings showing wing venation in detail.

Hi Horia,
This is a beautiful post with excellent details and very good composition. The colors are great! Everything is clear and sharp and this blurred BG works very well. It is not easy to catch them. I never succeed like I wanted too. Sorry for the points, I'll be back tomorrow; I was up too early this morning :)

Hi Horia.
It is really wonderful shot. You managed to show this nice insect in all its beauty. I like the POV and DOF. As a result BG is well blurred and colourful. Details of the dragonfly and the plant are great. Superb done and TFS.

Great contrast with that red and background colors! Soft coloured patches on the bg look wonderful here! pov, framing, details (especially on the wings) all are great! i'm curious about the reason that this is your favourite! i know this one should be a favourite shot, that's really beutiful composition, but i think you have a another reason also :-)
