Hi Horia,
What a beautiful combination in colors. The green of the reet really helps to bring out the blue and purple colors of the skimmer. The composition and DOF are stunning and the flash helped to illuminate the skimmer perfectly. The moment captured is awesome.

Many thanks for a brilliant example of masterly possession of a photo equipment. I only closely study experience of more skilled comrades and I try to apply it at my work. You and your pictures are among them.

I very much love technics and I read about it a lot. Before to estimate any picture, I look, what equipment and what technique were applied. That, what you do by means of your camera, is simply fantasy.

Your present shot is such perfect as previous yours. Great detailed and sharp dragonfly and well saturated colours, perfect DOF (BG is simply beauty: blurriness, amazing interchanging of light and dark strips, wonderful colour tones). Composition, cropping, presentation and note are superb, as always.

Very good image of Keeled Skimmer, Horia.
Fine POV, details and colours.
I may be doing unnecessary nit-picking, but don't you think the top of the dragonfly's tail (or rear body part) loses some details to slight over-exposure?
However, all said and done, this picture is finely balanced in its overall impact.

Hallo Horia
Excellent macro shot of this "Eating again" Keeled skimmer. Wonderful and sharp details. I like the dark sppots on the headpart or is it its eyes? It looks as if this skimmer was polished and groomed for the photographic session. A definite PPPP - perfect picture pretty photo. The green background and the blue colour of the skimmer is a lovely combination and a perfect match. Although this was one of your much older photos it was lovely to look at.
