[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken on Saturday, during our trek through Chocske Vrchy in Slovakia. We would like to reach Velky Choc (1611m). Unfortunatelly we started quite late (9AM), the snow was deep - sometimes over the knees. So it was hard trek. The day is very short now, so we had to resign. This time only :)
We started from Vysny Kubin, went towards Velky Choc and returned again to Vysny Kubin.
Thanks for visiting.

Hello Maciej,
Another interesting landscape. The clarity, focus and sharpness are great.
It is a wonderful winter with black and white colors.
Thanks for sharing!
Marius.

Hello Maciej,
My mountaineering friend, what a splendid image of the European winter. Fantastic detail and winter colours captured from a perfect POV. Just beautiful.

Oh Maciej this is an amazing shot and footnote. Just saw a film which portrays this feeling when I look at your photos. It was a true story about ww2 survivors who trekked through Siberia, Gobi Dessert and over the Himalayas. Nat'l Geo did the film; "The Way Back" Siberian gulag escapees walk 4000 miles overland to freedom in India! KUDOS just love this photo

Thank you so much for sharing your adventures, look forward to each and every shot. Hope you put it all in a book someday :0) (which you could sign for all of us)

Hello Maciek

Beautiful composition with the snow over the trees,
always with a fine POV and the way you frame
the background mountains by the foreground trees, TFS

Hello Maciej, another great landscape with perfect light and details. Very beautiful and interesting subject. All the best, Paolo

Hi Maciej,

The point of view from the valley to the summit of the mountain is giving depth and perspective to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the trees covered with snow. With the low light it seem to be almost a black and white photo. Have a nice day.

Pierre

Hello Maciek.
Another interesting view with almost monochromatic presentation. Lovely details depicting the coldness of the place.
Thanks and kind regards,
Jusni

The peace and silence in this very pristine, snow clad forest must be palpable, Maciej.
Yet another impressive landscape captured in the course of your never-ceasing walks and treks.
Thanks.
Ram
