[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Spanish] |
The tiger is a mammal of the order of carnivores and belongs to the family of cats. The tail measuring 75-91 cm. They weigh about 290 kilograms, have between 1-6 cubs per litter and live an average of 20 years.
Tiger pups are blind and weigh from 1 to 3 kg, and born with the characteristic color that distinguishes them. The eyes open at 14 days and are breastfed for a month and a half.
Adult tigers are the largest living cats and are impossible to mistake for their fur striped black and another color, which can vary from white to yellow.
The tiger, unlike the lion, live in areas where vegetation is bushy, full of bushes and scattered trees. Can get into the real forests and jungles, but prefers wooded areas dotted with clear.
Their diet varies from large mammals such as boars, hastalagartijas or frogs in times of scarcity. The tiger hunts alone and kill as many females as males.
Although it seems difficult if not impossible, living in different areas the tiger and lion in captivity are capable of interbreeding between them, with hybrid mixtures.
When a tiger kills a person, you create a habit. Since eating mammals, and humans are the most abundant and are everywhere, which makes it easier. Once this happens, you have to sacrifice. |
