Excellent in-flight on this Short-toed Eagle. I love that lighting from the top to create that halo effect. You handled the exposure very well. Great colors and detail in the plumage. Nice camera work.

The light in the back worked nicely to highlight the wings Tom. You did not lose the details from underside either. I like the wingspan and stop action of this in flight.

This is really a superb in-flight shot of this respect commanding Short-toed Eagle.
The details and sharpness of every element here is outstanding, but what i'm particularly amazed by is the exposure here - it's simply perfect! Because of it, the pattern and colors on the underwing are so well visible, but also the sky is not an overexposed one but a lovely blue.

This is just great, Tom. Your journey to Spain have really provided you with extremely good photos!

Great details and a great presence in the eye plus the perfect composition makes this really stand out. I have seen this eagle quite a few times but never been able to get something even close to this!

Wonderful use of lighting,the bird is glowing in warm light.
The focus is razor sharp well done ,excellent in flight clarity.
The plumage detail is well defined with excellent rich colours and patterns show well.

Sharp pic of a not-so-commun preybird.
Nice pose and composition.
Raptors can be hard to photograph becasue too dark against a bright sky. Perfect balance of light here. Very detailed.
