Short Toed Eagle hunting
I fully agree there was no eye contact ;-)
the light condition was far from perfect, shot almost straight at the sun in the very early morning
BUT I like it
thanks for your comments

Hi Tom,
Great inflight shot...
Those are definitely the tougher to take.
Hey who cares about the eye contact !!!

Need not be so humble! And you made the contact anyway, at least by the toe [rather than the eye]! Carl Sagan will be happy! :)

We too like it!

hi pirate,

what i like in this picture is the straight line the eagle is forming;the beak turned down which emphasises the space under the bird,it gives a good impression of altitude;the upcurved wings at their end.
why is his tail curved upside?
the picture is really great by its clarity and its straightness.
you can like it!:-)
thanks for your share of impressions,

Hello Tom,
Nice unusual inflight image, the rules don't always apply, thanks for sharing this great image.

Hi Tom
Nice inflight shot but i think
eye contact gives an image a more
personal dimension,otherwise
very good tfs jon

Hi Tom,
Good sharpness and detail, great non-eye contact ;}}
I like this diagonal comp, nice work under not-so-favorable conditions.

Hello Tom , very strange POV , very sharp photo , TFS.
