Scabiosa columbaria L. Familia: Dipsacaceae

Especie propia de pastizales vivaces, desde los situados a baja altitud, en ambientes secos, hasta los de las áreas supraforestales, colonizando con frecuencia claros de bosques y, a veces algunos prados de siega mal conservados.
Tiene las flores pequeñas de color azul lavanda, lila o color crema, llevando una sola cabeza en un tallo alto y erecto. Tiene un rico nectar que atrae los insectos como la lepidoptera.

You should add "and friend" to the title.I love the colours in this shot.The flower is very beautiful.Good POV and DOF.The flower fills the frame nicely.It shows well from the OOF BG.Nicely done.TFS

This is one of my favourite flowers, not only for its beauty but because it attracts lots of insects. Your close-up is very beautiful, fine details and lovely natural colour. Nice soft background too.
