Hello, and happy 2008 for everybody !

If you have looked at my photos before, I am sure that you can imagine what this is.
If you have not, try to guess what are you looking at, before looking at the answer in the following links ... don't look at genre or categorie please :)

The answer: you can see a side view of the same one:
HERE.
And if it is not clear enough, already posted this subject some more times:
HERE, HERE & HERE.

This is the only specie that I have posted more than twice, so forgive me but I think it worths it ;)

Hope you like !

Hello and Happy New Year Felipe!

This is a unique view of..... I'm guess the top view of a mushroom or fungi. I'll check out the species for sure from your links. It sure has a beautiful and soft looking texture. Very rich colour and fine detail. I really like it's wavy edge. Well done.
TFS Janice

Hello Felipe,
It's a really beautiful mushroom. Never seen such a thing before. I could guess that it could be a mushroom, but for its colour. Your other postings confirmed my guess. Interesting to know that it is edible. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hi Felipe and Cristina,
Wishing you a very Happy New Year 2008. A lovely fungi. Very nicely composed with excellent details and colors. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hello Felipe,
I'm glad you've posted this beautiful Cortinarius again because I missed your other posts of it.
I'm so glad you put the links in because they are excellent shots too.
It really is a beautiful fungi and well worth posting more than once.
Not many fungi around here at the moment.
Our forests are very dry after many sunny days.
(April is probably our best fungi month here)
Excellent work as usual.
Cheers
Steve

Hi Filipe

Thanks for your good wishes and for this lovely image. It was also very interesting to view this fungi in the other links showing it in its various stages of development. Quite extraordinary shots, all of them.

With appreciation for all the other wonderful postings you shared with us throughout the year and may there still be loads and loads of the same for the coming year.

As we now have already entered into the New Year...
may it open up more opportunities for you,
lead you unto the path of continued success,
happiness & good health.

Take time to enjoy God's creation and live life to the full.

A wonderful 2008 for YOU and your loved ones.

Best regards
Loot

Hi!
I have just discovered your gallery, and this is one of many very good fungi shots!
I agree with Janice that this could have been a fine porcelain plate.. :-)
The picture is lovely sharp, good detail and probably very correct color and light. BG is perfectly blurred.
Thank you for shearing!
Regards, Jon

Hi Felipe & Cristina,
Just marking this wonderful shot from you for now and will come back.

Hola Felipe y Cristina,

Hi Felipe

A fine capture of this handsome purple fungi. A very different perspective this time, but it works quite well. I like the symetry and texture.

Chris

Hola Felipe,
I know You're very rarely here now, but I didn't forget You MF... This shot is fabulous with top class sharpness, colors and plenty of details. Simple yet great composition, fantastic visual impact. Bravo.
Unfortunately I only saw Cortinarius violaceus once (it's rare here), on one of our fungi expos, but the condition of the fruitbody was very bad. So this species is still on my wish-list...
Friendly regards, I hope You fully return once, László
