reaches a height of up to 115 cetímetros. The plumage is black with white wings and pink bow compasses. Walk erect with the back somewhat curved and upright plume. This tuft of golden feathers on the head is what gives it its name. Progresses at a slow pace, but if pursued can reach high speeds. Draws attention to the short feathers like velvet, white cheeks and black on the forehead. Despite not being a migratory bird can travel relatively long distances looking for food. It flies slowly, flapping safely with outstretched necks, legs dangling and the duster pulled back. When excited jumps and stretches its wings. Their cry is sharp and strident and heard more than 2 km away. It is impossible to determine the male from the female to the naked eye unless you are making the bridal dance.

Hello, magnificent close up of this bird. The colors and the sharpness are superb. Good use of back lighting to accentuate the 'crown' on his head. This is a very beautiful photograph and one to be proud of to be sure.
Great job!
TFS,
Karen
