Congratulations on your 100th posting. Great environmental image, pin sharp, lighting, colour and detail are great, catch light in the eye, all spot on.
This is a common sight in our swamps and on the grasslands here on the West Coast. Called a Pukeko. (Porphyrio porphyrio melanotus)

Mendrugo calamoncete pillaste y en su medio, a estos los tengo yo unas ganas de pillarlos con la artilleriaaaaaaa. Este calamonsete es andujareño, hay que jorobarse si tienes de toooooo.
