[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Gyps vultures are a genus of Old World vultures in the bird family Accipitridae, which also includes eagles, kites, buzzards and hawks.
These are the typical vultures, with bald head, broad wings and mainly dark plumage. They are large scavenging birds, feeding mostly from carcasses of dead animals. Old World vultures find carcasses exclusively by sight. Representatives of this group are found throughout warmer parts of the Old World.
The characteristic featherless head is because a feathered head would become spattered with blood and other fluids, and thus be difficult to keep clean.

This shot is taken in Piqueras, Alto Tajo, Guadalajara, Spain.

Hello Ferran,
Good sharp photo with very good details. Fantastic POV. Good natural colours and BG.

Hello Ferran,
This is a very good picture.Good capture. The picture could be more sharper.Bg is excellent. But the Thing is Avoiding cutting the wings of the Bird in the frame

Fantastic capture of this magnificent bird!!!
nice background and colors

hello Ferran

great flight photo with a great determination of the vulture
i like the pov and the way of the wings, TFS

Hello Ferran,

It seems there was a pretty strong light that allowed you to set such a fast shutter speed at such a small aperture. Anyway, you froze the movement of the bird in midair and managed an excellent exposure to preserve details both on the upper side of the bird and under the wings. I would have loved it if you placed the bird more towards the right hand side of the composition but it looks great this way too. Very well done! Thank you.

With Friendly Regards,
