Hi Tom.
Very beautiful photo of a rarity. It would be nice if you could keep the other one in frame, but it is helpful to understand how close they were. TFS
Hello Tom,
I think that prosperously one can leave only one griffin in the picture all more, that he became caught in very attractive attitude. Suitable adjustment picture will not permit to lose nothing from tragic aspect of the scene, which you described. Upraised paw and all set to of the attack the beak speak themselves behind. Work nice, dynamic and with the beautifully well-chosen depth of the sharpness. In the workshop the proposal which to be perhaps will appeal.
Best regards from Poznañ,
Jurek

Hi Tom
This is a terrific action shot presenting the natural behavior of this impressive bird - the griffon vulture.
The details of your shot are exceptional and the timing is simply impeccable. The POV is also excellent and shows the posture very well.
Spot-on exposure and very good DOF, too.
Bravo and TFS

Hi Tom
Nice action shot! Even better suggestion is to only remove or clone bird in the front and keep space in front of the bird imho. Workshop example is to tight and work only if bird is static.

Hello Tom,
What a great action moment and specially the way you photographed it from a very low POV. That makes the photo impressive. Very sharp with a great DOF. Beautiful colours.

Hello Tom,
Razor sharp details and perfect exposure make this image a hit, I too wondered about the particle vulture, but the workshop didn't work well for me.

what a pose! awesome and well-timed capture, tom! :-)
terrific low pov and nice composition, with great sharpness and wonderful details, i just would have done
something else with the half vulture on the right - jerzy´s WS is good for that purpose.
well seen & captured, thor.

The classic Defend/Attack pose from these vultures. You did very well exposing this photo in the light conditions. Excpetional pose you got here but alas the other vulture cut off takes away some of the glory of the capture. I would crop the other vulture out of the frame to add even more impact to this photo.
Very well done.

Hi Tom,
I think the workshopper - by cutting out the other Vulture - removed the raison d'etre of the photo i.e.keep away!
Your photo is an excellent study in bird behaviour - teaching less observant people (mea culpa)- about the aggressive behaviour.
The high speed - freezing the action - emphasises the threat!
Enjoy the rest of your day,
Warm regrds
Ingrid
