Categoria IUCN : Poco preocupante.
Características : Muy abundante, puede llegar a cubrir los campos de rojo escarlata de sus flores. Florece, pero más tarde que las otras especies. Para diferenciarla de Papaver dubium debemos fijarnos en los pelos rígidos y erectos del tallo, Papaver dubium los tiene aplicados, además el color de la flor es un rojo mucho más intenso, generalmente con una mancha negra en la base del pétalo.

M'has ben be tocat el boraviu, vols creure que no m'havia fixat am el "ditet", però ja que ho dius, doncs mira, serveix com a punt de referència. Quins pabrots!!!.

I have almost similar shot in my gallery. I like yours a lot. Only it is a pity that bud is shadowed a bit. Nice composition and combination of sharpness of the flower blurriness of the BG. My best wishes and TFS.

Outstanding shot of this Poppy bud with immaculate sharpness and lovely colours. Great use of natural lighting and a fine DOF isolates it perfectly from the BG. Excellent POV and a very artistic composition. Kudos.
