Leg of mule (Ramaria stricta = Clavaria stricta; = C. R. flava flava; R. aurea = C. aurea). The ramarias, as its term suggests, shaped branch, as a base, more or less thick, leaving various branches which are divided into successively smaller, until at one end denticulado. R. stricta is a clear brown hue, while the other two species are of a striking golden-yellow or orange.
Although these species are edible, you are advised to consume them only when they are young and after cooking. However, it is inadvisable to his collection to be confused with other species of toxic ramarias.

Hi Carme
You've captured a very unique looking Fungi. I like the detail and the way the fungi comes out of the shadows. Also I like the way the sun it hitting the tops. Interesting note.

Hi Carme,
sucjh a lovely shot exploiting the light. The glow is very pleasant and it brighten the shot with beauty and clarity.

Hola Carme,
Beautiful photo, but the ID specification's wrong. This is Pterula subulata (= Pterula multifida), not a Ramaria at all, very-very different. But the image itself is awesome, fantastic macro capture.
Gracias, saludos, László
