Although I don't like football very much, I want to congratulate the spanish team with this "Red Fury" photo. Also give my friend Laszlo back his recent dedication for spanish people about winning the world cup, and otrer members comments I have seen around about it.

It was fun to see people from all over the world supporting their teams, each one with their own look and personality, and of course a lot of passion.
Here we say: "A man, in a life, can change his political party, can change his wife, can change his religion, but will never change his favourite football team."
And I think this is not only valid for football, but for all national sports all over the world... humans are strange and complex beings... :)

F:4.5 - ISO 100 - 1/500 sec. - Auto exposure - Tripod - 28/05/2004
No crop or postprocess except for framing, slight colour desaturation, unsharpen mask and resize. It is a pity I had to force compression to 57% to be under the 300 Kbs. allowed. as some detail in the reds is lost.

Hello Felipe Mateo and Cristina,
what an outstanding filed of poppies! Something of a great beauty that could never be witnesses in my country.
How i love to be there appreciating the flowers in excellent contrast. This sea of red is excellently presented in superb sharpness and of a splendid composition.
Really a superb view.

Hello Felipe and Cristina,
Yes, the Spanish certainly deserved winning and hopefully this has been a boost to the country in times of hardship!
Your capture is truly wonderful - I don't think we can find a field so full of Poppies here! Excellent DOF and wonderful natural colours. Very well done!
TFS and best regards, Ulla

Hi Felipe,
I would pay big bucks to have such a field of poppies near my home. It is one of the summer photos I would love to make one day.
The way you excluded the sky or any other different object is great and allows for a good focus on the bed of flowers. The vertical framing is a nice touch as well and gives good depth.
TFS,
Niek

Hello Felipe and Cristina,
Superb capture of a Poppy field. The perspective, emphasised by the vertical format, is great and your colour management just right.
I supported Spain in the recent football champonships and pleased to see your country win, a good boost!
Thanks and have a good week,
Ivan

Hi Felipe and Cristina,

This is a very nice colourful picture of this field of popies. The are good vivid colours throughout the photo. I do feel though that there may be too much going on in the picture and that there isn't really one main point to look at. Maybe this could be changed with a lower POV, or that might not have been possible with so many flowers. It is a nice vertical composition though and well exposed.
Good capture and TFS

Sion

Hola Felipe y Cristina,
Wonderful, amigo, just wonderful! Maybe some details on the red are lost, but the overall result's truly amazing. The contrast between the Spanish national colors are breathtaking, and the simple yet nice composition's quite pleasant to the eyes. Thank You so much for sharing, I hope You to have faster inet very soon. Also good to see this photo for me especially now - I was on a trip today in a hilly area what I saw for the first time, but we've got heavy rains through the whole day, so no useful photos almost at all...
Friendly regards, muchas gracias, László

Hello Felipe :-)

You are from Spain and you don't like football? This is illogical :-) I shouldn't like football, because our national team is bunch of losers from long time. Erm... to be honest I don't like our national team, but I support our local club :-) Anyway, fortunately World Cup is over and your picture looks superb! I've never seen so many deeply red poppies in one place. Fantastic place.

Bonjour Felipe,
A most beautiful view on this red poppy-field and beautiful mix with the yellow flowers. Perfect to symbolize Spanish colors!
I also like the vertical framing you have chosen.
Amazing what you achieved with your camera. Carl Zeiss optic is really excellent!
have a nice afternoon
Kind regards
Anne
