[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Pyrenean saxifrage (Saxifraga longifolia) is a perennial, only once flowering plant. It is endemic to the Pyrenees and grows on steep cliff, in cracks of limestone rocks at altitudes between 500 and 2500m above sea level. Flowering time is between May and August. Thereafter, when the seeds have matured, the plant dies.
