Cortinarius violaceus - Comestible :)

NOTE IN ENGLISH IN LOWER PART.

Hola.

Saludos.

Cortinarius violaceus - Purple cort - Edible :)

Hello.
As promised in my previous post here is a full body view of this explosion of colour.

It is a Cortinarius violaceus, in fact I had already posted HERE in a bottom open view. Last year it was alone, old and dull, so I made sure this year I would not loose the oportunity and returned. This time the forest was full of them, in all stages of development.
As I already posted info on the mentioned previous post, I will save words this time ;)
I always try not to post a fungus twice, but I hope you wont mind to see some other view of this beauty in the future, I think it worths it...

Hello,
Now I know what the dungfly stood on! Amazing colour for a flower, let alone a species of fungus. This new to me and thank you for presenting it so well in your sharp and well composed shot.
Best regards, Ivan

what an amazing colour, are they edible ? Ori

Hola Felipe y Cristina.

Saudos.

Hello Felipe and Cristina,
This is excellent, as are your two previous shots! You've arranged the subjects very skilfully and the sharpness and the colour is very impressive.
Thanks, Ulla

Ricardo

Great species indeed! Very strong distinctive colour, thanks for the underside view. i don't know if they are in my country, but i will look for them! Hmmm, edible! Good! Have you tried it, is it delicious? No more questions:-) It's ok for now!
Thank you Felipe for this beauty!

Hi Felipe,
What an amazing colour! Very sharp and good composition, framing and details. All in all a very interesting posting. Well done.
TFS and regards, Ruud

Felipe - I'm glad you posted again I like this. The colours are surreal and almost unreal. The background setting and the green set it off nicely.

WOW! I've NEVER seen a mushroom with such a color before! I mean, i know i have some problems in seeing some colors, but this definately would have "left a mark" in my memory! I would have never expected this from your previous post...this looks really stange and ... cool :)
And what geat contrast between it and everything else! Simply a magnificent post!

Hi Gang!

So, this is real subject of yours previous post :-) Fascinating fungus. I've never seen such colour. Weird one :-) I like your scientific way of presentation with different POVs on one photo. As always very interesting post with high quality photo.

Far out Felipe, this is an impressive purple fungi. I've never seen one so rich in colour, its beautiful.
Superb sharpness, texture, comopsition, POV and DOF.
One of your best shots I think.
Well done my friend,
Chris

Amazing colours, nice studdy of both views

It is great that I didn't need to wait another day before I could see the entire fungi. This is a beautiful fungi, with such a funky color. I like the composition showing a great deal of the foilage surrounding the fungi. It looks like you got there really early, because it looks really wet. Do you do anything to diffuse your flash?

Niek

Buenas

Buena foto.

Hi Felipe,

I'm so glad You'll return! Of course I still din't forget what I promised 2 weeks ago... You'll be informed by personal e-mail. But today I really wanted to finish my "Virgin Forest" series, and I suffered a lot with the closing image.

To this pic: fantastic colors, exposure andd sharpness - and a specie which I never found yet, although it's in the top 5 on my wish-list. Here in Hungary it's rare. Wonderful fruitbodies and photo. Bravo amigo.

I hope to see You soon, László
