Is this creature real? Yo have caught it very very well. All details are fantastic and very well focused. The waterdrop on bugs mouth looks nice. Congratulations.

Saludos sinceros y buenas noches.

incredible macro-shot, jose! :-)
perfectly sharp, well composed with an awesome pose and
amazing details - like the reflections inside the waterdrop.
very well seen & captured, thorsten.

Hola Jose,

Hi Jose

I took a look at your gallery today and i stopped on this one simply because is excraordinary!
The level of magnification here and the sharpness of every details is just outstanding!
The colors are also wonderful and very well saturated and that drop of water there looks great!
Lovely diagonal composition and impeccable DOF - that keeps all the insect in full focus but still blurres the BG nicely.

Bravo and TFS
Horia

It is not a Suillia species but a member of Scathophaga (Calyptrata, Scatophagidae)

Hello Jose Ramon!
This time something from your archieve :)
Wonderful shot and perfect timing! It is not easy to take a good quality photo of so small fly, and you done even something more - this picture has fantastic details and is also a great documentary photo! A fly during drinking! Lovely presentation!
My best congratulation because of so perfet final effect!
Best regards,
Radomir
