Bonjour Ivan,
A good surprise this beautiful Chequered Blue male with its very special marks on the wings. A well taken and sharp picture with natural colors and a fine background. I never have seen this species in my country, but it seems to exist in the subspecies S.lariana in the South of the country.

Wow, excellent image with this rare buttlerfly. From the first glimpe, I supposed that is not something very common: I never saw this pattern on wings or such trong blue.

You have captured this male with its wings open very nicely. I know these butterflies are rarely seen with their wings open. The focus on the part facing the camera is very sharp and impressive.
