A lovely image with great POV. The focus and colour are excellent.

A couple of weeks ago I was staying on the north Norfolk coast and was woken up at 5.30 by twitchers who had come to see a Red-Backed Shrike which had turned up there!

Nice photo and composition. Postprocessing is still evident as you say in your notes. There is a line around the bird and the branch its on seperating it from the background but it doesnt really matter.

this is a great shot of törnskatan with lovely light, beautiful colours and good details.
The DOF is perfect, the whole bird within focus and the BG nicely OOF, the bird standout well.

Hi Ivan. In animal kingdom, the word pretty deserved to be labeled to male. This male shrike is as beautiful as the capture and composition. The perch at the tip of the branch is really neat with the tail up. Sharp details eliminating all the busyness around the subject. Well crafted shot and very well done.
