Thanks for your kind words of my previous post.

Met ”The Lady Of Snow”, a very rare beautiful flower and of course protected.
We can find a small numbers of them in my county.

I do not have so much info of this flower.

Info from wikipedia.

Pulsatilla vernalis (spring pasqueflower, arctic violet, lady of the snows) is a species of flowering plant in the family Ranunculaceae, native to mountainous habitats in Europe.
Growing to 10 cm (4 in) high and wide, it is a semi-evergreen perennial with hairy, divided leaves. In early spring it bears anemone-like flowers which are up to 6 cm (2 in) in diameter,
white flushed with violet on the outer surface of the petals, and prominent yellow stamens.
The specific epithet vernalis means "of spring"
In cultivation it is suitable for an alpine garden or alpine house, with sharply-drained soil in full sun. Though very hardy it dislikes winter wetness. It has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
It is the county flower of Oppland, Norway, and is depicted in the county coat of arms.

Hello Gert,
perfect and nice wild flower study with great sharpness and colour.
good natural ambiance.

'Lady of the Snows' is an interesting name for this delicate looking flower, Gert.
Its hairy stem is the major point of its unique appeal.
Very authentic capture of the flower in its natural habitat.
Thanks and regards.

Hi Gert.
Crisp sharp image of a small beautiful plant. Colours are great, vivid and clean. Composition and framing are also superb. Piece of stone on the left lower corner is sweet and balances all composition. Excellent job.
P.S. You give me a lot of useful info. Many thanks. Can I ask next questions? Do you use tripod with 300 mm prime? How well did AF of Sony A55 work? I have AF issue at my A57.

nice one, and here its already dry, TFS Ori
